Imagination IS more important than knowledge,
i mean, you can learn everything about anything but not know what do to with it. Knowledge does play apart of course, but it's not the main case here.
Without imagination, our world would be monotonous.

I wouldn't quite agree. "Knowledge" is just a bunch information interrelated by a series of socially adapted rules... Without information about the world, there is no "imagination". You can't picture a colour out of the visible spectrum. Sure, you can "imagine" octarine or some fictional colour like that, but that's because you have the necessary data to know there are other colours outside the spectrum. It is how we relate this information about that we can imagine "new" things. Originality is non-existent :D
